Another Father was Lynched by ICE because District Attorneys are too Afraid to Indict Trump

Joan Sebastian Guerrero, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, Renee Goode, and Alex Pretti

The only reason that Renee Goode and Alex Pretti were gunned down in the streets by the Republican Party is because when Fani Willis was removed from the RICO case against  the President and his co-conspirators, no a single prosecutor in the state of Georgia had the courage to replace her and move the case forward. 

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was murdered by ICE agents because Hennepin County District Attorney Mary Moriarty did not summon a grand jury to secure indictments against Kristi Noem and Donald Trump for the conspiracy that led to the murders of Renee and Alex. 

Joan Sebastian Guerrero was lynched by ICE agents n front of his wife and three-year-old daughter because District Attorney Sean Teare has not yet indicted Donald Trump, Markwayne Mullin, and the ICE agent responsible his lynching for the conspiracy that led to Lorenzo’s lynching. 

All of them are dead because District Attorneys and State Attorneys General have collectively decided to allow Trump to do whatever the fuck he wants whenever the fuck he wants to – and we have allowed this.

District Attorneys are responsible for protecting the people in their jurisdiction from having their rights violated, their streets terrorized, and their lives taken by masked, unidentified, untrained members of a white power militia that serves Trump, not America. There are state level laws passed in each state to ensure that people within county and district lines enjoy safety from networks of murder hungry criminals. It is our elected prosecutors’ job to use these laws to do just that.

County and state level prosecutors have inexplicably decided they are not going to do their jobs. They have all decided they won’t hold Trump or his administration accountable for what they have done within the borders of their jurisdictions. Whether they are too afraid of MAGA backlash to perform, or are to ill-informed on the law to know how to apply it correctly, they are the reason Trump shambles freely. They are why Renee, Alex, Lorenzo, and Joan are gone.

And we as Americans have done nothing to demand action. 

The people of the United States were so upset that Trump’s sentencing was delayed after the insurrection, they gave up on criminal prosecution entirely.  Thinking that the Supreme Court had given the President a green light to commit whatever crimes come to his deranged mind, Democrats have not tried to indict the President a single time since he returned to office.  This is a strategic failure.

The Supreme Court granted county and state level prosecutors the authority to indict a sitting President in 2024. While it looked like they let Trump off the hook for trying to overturn the election, they actually just delayed his conviction and sentencing until the new requirements could be met. Jack Smith ran out of time because Trump won the election. DA Fani Willis’s election interference case and DA Alvin Bragg’s hush money case were allowed to move forward.  Bragg secured a conviction but strategically chose to ask for a sentencing that did not include punishment. It was a District Attorney that marked Trump a felon.  Willis’s election interference case was also allowed to move forward, but after she was removed, no one stepped up to take her place.

It wasn’t presidential immunity that kept Trump out of prison.  It was the cowardice of our elected prosecutors. And our own.  We let Renee, Alex, Lorenzo, and Joan die on our watch.  We are letting Democracy die on our watch. And we have done nothing to stop their murderers.

We let Trump and his militia demolish the White House, blow up innocent civilians like they were playing video games, violently take over our elections, construct fucking Alligator Alcatraz, and unleashed the restraints preventing violent white supremacists and powerfully networked pedophiles to engage in their most deranged fantasies and be rewarded for it.  We let him hand our most sensitive intelligence and steadfast alliances over to our adversaries.  We let him turn the nation into a measles, monkey pox, Covid and Cyclosporiasis petri dish while simultaneously dismantling the agencies responsible for protecting us from disease.  And we let him handguns paid for with our tax dollars to Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, so they can terrorize and murder whomever they want to without any fear whatsoever of repercussions.

The world is watching us fail.  As Trump carpetbombs our global security and the global security of the western world, we need to ask ourselves how far we are willing to let this go? The only answer is, “Not one more step”

District Attorney Kathry Slattery has the authority to bring charges against the ICE agent that lynched Joan Sebastian Guerro.  She needs to launch an investigation and summon a grand jury to indict them on state charges immediately.  We can’t let her stop there, though.  Federal officials, including the President, are also violating state level conspiracy and obstruction laws. Just as they are doing in every single state and county that is housing ICE Agents and an ICE detention facility. They need to be held accountable.  The Trump Administration needs to be stopped and District Attorneys have the power to stop them.

If we as a nation want to stop the madness we see around us, we have to turn all of our attention towards our DAs and State AGs.  They can hold Trump accountable.  They can lock up the Administration.  We need to make sure they do just that.

Call them. Tell them to pursue indictments against the President, the Secretary of DHS, and every ICE agent terrorizing our streets under the color of law. Trump is getting away with all of this because we are letting him.  It’s time to correct course and fight back.  For Renee, Alex, Lorenzo, Sebastian – it’s time to lock them up.
